Peggy D. Diekmann, 76, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, Mar. 11, 2020 in the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Peggy was born May 3, 1943 in Florence, PA, daughter of the late Paul Corder and Margaret (Rabe) Corder Fisher and step-father, Ben Fisher.

She was a former bus driver for Wintersville Schools and a former cook at Margarets Caf and Skippers Haven both in Toronto.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Londyn Hanlin, her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Hanlin, her brother-in-law, Larry Mercer and niece, Chasity Corder.

Peggy leaves behind her husband of 50 years, John Jack Diekmann, whom she married Feb. 14, 1970; her three sons, Tim Hanlin of Toronto, Brian (Erin) Hanlin of Alabama and Steve (Angie) Diekmann of Bloomingdale, OH; brother, Paul (Cindy) Corder; sister, Carolyn Mercer; brother, John (Beverly) Corder all of Bloomingdale; brothers, Bob (Linda) Corder of Cadiz, OH and Howard (Mary) Corder of Bloomingdale; four grandsons; six great-grandchildren with one on the way and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Sunday, March 15 from 1 3 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. www.jefosterfh.com
