Preston Gary Cochran, 70, of Toronto, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2007 in Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.Gary was born on March 25, 1937 in Steubenville son of the late Preston B. and Opal L. (Fisher) Cochran.Gary was presently employed by Maryland Refractories in Irondale; he was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pitt Steel having worked over 30 years in the Slab Yard; Gary was also a veteran of the United States Navy.Gary is survived by his wife, Monta "Sue" Cochran of home; three sons, Kenneth B. of Wintersville; David L. (Denice) of Fresno, OH; Eric S. of home; three grandchildren, Preston, Kristen and Wesley all of Fresno, OH; two sisters, Darla Varney of Wellsville; Sherry (Bill ) Rhoads of Bethel Park, PA; Gary was also survived by many nieces and nephews.Visitation for Gary will be held on Saturday, April 28 from 2-4 and 6-8:30pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. There will be a Memorial Service held on Saturday night at 8:30pm following visitation hours at the funeral home.Gary will also have visitation on Sunday, April 29 from 6-9pm in WebsterSprings, WV at the Dodd and Reed Funeral Home.Funeral services for Gary will be held on Monday, April 30 at 11:00 at the Dodd and Reed Funeral Home.Burial will follow in the HarrisonCochranCemetery.The family has asked that donations be made in Gary's name to the charity of your choice. www.jefosterfh.com
