Ralph L. Fisher, 81, of Dillonvale, passed away at his home Sunday, April 6, 2008.Ralph was born on March 1, 1927 in Smithfield, OH, son of the late Roy and Goldie (DeYarmon) Fisher. Ralph was a retired steelworker from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. in Mingo, where he worked in the Electrical Dept. and also as a Crane Operator. Ralph was also a veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country in WWII.In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Hester (Layne) Fisher, who passed away October 27, 2006; two sons, Keith and Brian Fisher; three sisters, Viola Bateman, Virginia Russell and Lorraine Poch.Ralph is survived by his son, Ralph L., Jr. and his wife Rosie of Chandler Heights, AZ; his daughter Lisa and her husband Timothy Kirchner of Dillonvale; one sister Dorothy and her husband Walter Mills of Dillonvale; one brother Wilbur and his wife Margaret Fisher of Mt. Pleasant, OH.Ralph will be having a graveside service at Holly Memorial Gardens on Rt. 250 Friday, April 11, 2008 at 11 am. Friends and family are invited to attend. The Rev. Wilford Simeral will officiate the service. Services are being handled by the J.E.
