Ralph E. Gobble, 68, of Toronto, OH passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2007 in the VA Medical Center, Aspinwall, PA.Ralph was born December 30, 1938 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late George W. and Clara (Ross) Gobble.Ralph was a veteran of the US Army, an avid Pittsburgh Steeler's fan and Methodist by faith.Ralph was a retired employee of the former Hancock Manufacturing Co. in Toronto, where he also was once the owner and operator of the North End Tavern.He was a member of the Toronto American Legion Post #86, Toronto VFW Post# 6906 and the Toronto Fraternal Order of Eagles.In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn, Doug and Coy Gobble.Ralph is survived by one niece, Judy Gobble of Barrington, RI; one grand-niece, Nicole Gobble of Toronto; two grand-nephews, Isaac Gobble of Toronto and Joseph Gobble of RI.Visitation for Ralph will be held Friday evening from 6-9pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.Funeral services will be Saturday at 11am at the funeral home with the Rev. Kevin Rinkes officiating.Burial will follow in TorontoUnionCemetery where full military honors will be provided by the Toronto American Legion Post # 86.www.jefosterfh.com
