Ralph C. Pasco, 74, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 in the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, OH.Ralph was born Dec. 3, 1939 in Wells Township, OH, son of the late Ralph C. and Sarah Boughner Pasco.He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel where he worked as a Railroad Engineer; he was a 1958 graduate of Smithfield High School. Ralph also served his country in the US Army.In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his brother Elias B. Pasco.Surviving is his wife of 49 years, Pauline D. (Ryan) Pasco of home whom he married on June 27, 1964; his son Brian (Cara) Pasco of Colerain, OH; his brother Chester 'Ted' (Lenora) Pasco of Canton, OH; two granddaughters, Emmalee and Natalee Pasco.Visitation for Ralph will be held on Thursday, Dec. 26 from 3-7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. in Smithfield, OH, where his funeral service will be held Friday at 11 am. Rev. Ed Gardner will officiate the service and his burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, OH. Full Military Graveside Honors will be provided by the Piney Fork, Brilliant, Smithfield,Dillonvale and surrounding American Legion Honor Guard.
