Regis G. Mehalko, loving and devoted husband and father, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 84.

Regis was born April 5, 1940, in Steubenville, OH, son of the late John and Mary (Blasko) Mehalko.

He was retired from Timet-Titanium Metals Corp., in Toronto, where he had 42 years of service.

Regis was a member of the St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church in Toronto. He was a very loving and caring man who will be dearly missed. His family was his life.

In addition to his parents, Regis was preceded in death by his sister, Dolores (Bill) Garman and his brother, John Mehalko.

He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Marlene (Murray) Mehalko, whom he married on Oct. 20, 1962; his daughters, Kaylyn Skidmore and her fianc Robert DeLeonardis of Weirton, WV, and Andrea (Jeff) Romey of Wintersville, OH.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, July 31 from 2 PM to 5 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto where a service will follow at 5 PM. Rev. Fr. John Kapitan, Jr. OFM will officiate and a private burial will be held in the Toronto Union Cemetery.
