Obituary
Richard D. Carpenter, 74, of Toronto, OH, passed away July 4, 2017 at his home.
Richard was born Oct. 13, 1942 in Martins Ferry, OH, son of the late Otis and Olive (Jackson) Carpenter.
He was retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as a Metallurgist. Richard was also a Veteran of the US Army.
Richard leaves behind his brother, Otis Carpenter of Brilliant, OH; two daughters and son and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 8 at 10 am at the Bethel Cemetery in Jewett, OH. Arrangements for Richard are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH. www.jefosterfh.com.
