Richard M. Dobbs, 74, of Toronto, OH, went peacefully into the loving arms of his dear Savior Thursday, August 11, 2022, in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH.

Rich was born Oct. 1, 1947, in Steubenville, son of the late George and Ellen (Romanda) Dobbs.

Rich was a graduate of Toronto High School, Youngstown State University, and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Steubenville and many senior clubs. He was retired from the Weirton Steel Corp. He was an avid fan of the Pirates, Steelers, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and car races.

In addition to his parents, Rich was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy, and his first wife, Georgia Dobbs.

Rich leaves behind his wife, Joyce (Fidak) Dobbs whom he married March 17, 2012; daughter, Sherri Treadway of Geneva, OH; son, George (Danielle) Dobbs of Toronto; daughter, Cynthia Tye of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Hannah, Jake, and Addison Dobbs, and his precious kitties, Maya and Mia.

Services for Rich will be private, and burial will be held at the convenience of his family. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. www.jefosterfh.com
