Richard L. Koski, 76, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022, in the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH, surrounded by his loving family.

Rich was born July 17, 1946, in Steubenville, son of the late Chester and Virginia (Cipoletti) Kuczykowski.

He was retired from the Weirton Steel Corp. where he worked in the Blooming Mill Soaking Pits. Rich was also a Veteran of the US Army having served in the Vietnam War with the 459th Signal Bn, Co. A.

Rich was a 1964 graduate of Catholic Central High School. He was Roman Catholic by faith. He was an avid outdoorsman, Cleveland football and baseball fan, and Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Rich was a member of the Weirton Steel 25-year Club. His other memberships include the Toronto American Legion Post #86, Toronto Rod and Gun Club, Steubenville Rifle and Pistol Club, and the NRA.

Rich leaves behind his wife, Wanda J. (Putnam) Koski whom he married Oct. 26, 1968; two sons, Richard L. (Kim) Koski, II of Toronto and Michael J. (Darcy) Koski of Washington Court House, OH; daughter, Severen (Shane Cope) Koski of Toronto; sister, Sandi (Bob) Santicola and brother, Scott (Sonia) Koski both of Wintersville, OH; seven grandchildren, Gabby, Sam, Kat, Cassy, Mikey, Destiny and Cody; special family friend, Anna Zirille of Steubenville; in-laws, Barbara Maxwell, Donna (John Antil) Olsen, and Clyde (Connie) Putnam, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Rich will be held Monday, Jan. 2 from 3 pm to 7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Military Honors will be presented at 7 pm by the Toronto American Legion.
