Richard L. "Rich" Laizure, 53, of Toronto, Ohio passed away suddenly Sunday Jan. 18th., at his home.Rich was born March 27, 1955 in Steubenville, son of Virginia Dillon Laizure of Toronto who survives and the late Don Lee Laizure. Rich was employed at Weirton Steel Corp. for 29 years was a coach for the Toronto Little League Assoc. and the Toronto Girls Softball League. In addition to his father, Rich was preceded in death by a nephew Scott Robertson. Surviving Rich in addition to his mother Virginia are his wife Kathy A. (Fagan) Laizure of home, his daughter Cassie of Steubenville and his son Patrick of home; four sisters, Linda (Laizure) Mickley of Virginia, Marla Kay (Laizure) Robertson of Mingo and( her daughter Danielle Lindsay), Patricia (Gary Nunes) Laizure of Steubenville and Cheryl (Laizure) (Rich) Doran of Steubenville; his brother David Laizure of Toronto; his Mother-in-Law Doris Fagan of Toronto. There will be a Memorial visitation on Wednesday Jan. 21, 2009 from 5:00 pm. til 7:00pm., followed by Rich's Service of Remembrances at 7:00 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of Rich's family.
