RichardL. "Dickey" Shimmel 42, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Friday Sept. 1, 2006. Dick was born July 7, 1964 in Steubenville, son of Irene Fidak Shimmel of Toronto, who survives and the late Thomas Shimmel, who passed away in 1987.Dick was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David in 1984 and Thomas in 1993.Surviving are his son Thomas Shimmel of Ada, Ohio and his brother John "Geno" (Christina) Shimmel of Toronto, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews A memorial service will be held on Friday at 1:00pm. at the J.E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto. Friends and family may call on Friday from 12 noon til time of his memorial service. Inurnment will follow in TorontoUnionCemetery. Msgr.
