Ricky G. Wiant, 66, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, in the East Liverpool Hospital ER.

Ricky was born July 3, 1955, in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Eugene and Dixie (Lawrence) Wiant.

He was retired from the former Arcelor-Mittal - Tin Mill in Weirton, WV. Ricky loved going to fairs and was a longtime member of the 4H. He also loved going to Mountaineer Casino, listening to bands and dancing.

In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his brother, Vern Wiant.

Ricky leaves behind his wife, Barbara J. (Blevins) Wiant, whom he married May 17, 1987; brother, Marty (Athea) Wiant of Toronto; sister-in-law, Darlene Wiant of Hammondsville, OH, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 23 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, where his funeral will be held Friday at 1 pm. Burial will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery in Toronto.
