Rita J. (Wilson) Baier, 74, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Saturday Aug. 9, 2008 at her home. Rita was born July 10, 1934 in Toronto, daughter of the late Oliver and Mary Dougherty Wilson. Rita was a homemaker, a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church and the Toronto Sr. Citizens Club.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother Tommy Wilson, infant sister Margaret, brothers, William and Ronald Wilson. Surviving are her husband Charles W. 'Bill' Baier, whom she married on Dec. 19, 1953, four daughters, Jane (Nick) Kaschak, Janice (Scott) Johnson, Laurie (Michael) Iosue and Mary Beth (Shawn) Sherwood. Five Sons, Bill (Ann) Baier, Tom (Cindy) Baier, John (Michelle) Baier, Steve (Nicole) Baier and Allen Baier. 11 Grandchildren; Charley Daniels, Sarah Diamond, Karly Baier, Joe Baier, Ashley Baier, Molly Johnson, Mike Iosue, Lucas Iosue, Kurtis Baier, Max Baier, and Ethan Sherwood. Two Great-Grandchildren Zach and Autumn Daniels. Three Step-grandchildren, Mary and Theresa Kaschak and Jennifer (Brandon) Ulasiewicz. Two Step-great-grandchildren, Patrick and Mia Ulasiewicz. Sister; Beatrice (Ted) Troski and Brothers; James (Marion) Wilson, Robert (Kay Jean) Wilson, and 2Sisters-in-Law Edith Wilson and Dorothy Baier.Friends and family may call on Tuesday Aug. 12th, at the St. Francis R.C. Church, located on Findley St. in Toronto, from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Additional visitation will take place on Wednesday morning at the Church from 9:15 am. til time of Rita's Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10:00 am. Father Thomas Vennitti will be the Celebrant and Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery. Vigil Service will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 3:45 pm.
