Rita C. (Lamantia) Ventolo, 95 of Toronto, OH, passed away peacefully at her home Friday, January 24, 2020.

Rita was born July 28, 1924 in Toronto, daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine (Calgano) Lamantia.

She was retired from the Timet-Titanium Corp in Toronto where she worked as a clerk in the payroll dept. Rita was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Victor V. Ventolo, four sisters, Josephine Lamantia, Theresa Calabrese, Rosemary Finesman and Esther Pavia and two brothers, Philip and Anthony Lamantia. Rita leaves behind several loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 10 am at St. Francis Catholic Church in Toronto. Ritas family will receive friends in the rear of the church from 9:15 am to 10 am. Fr. Thomas Vennitti will celebrate and burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville, OH.
