Robert L. Captor, 85, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Thursday Jan. 22, 2015 in Trinity Medical Center ER in Steubenville, OH.

Bob was born April 28, 1929 in Bradley, OH, son of the late Leo and Della Rosek Captor.

He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. after working for 44 years in the Electric Shop.

Bob was a member of the Smithfield Presbyterian Church. His other memberships include: life member of Post #65 Disabled American Veterans Steubenville, OH, life member endowed N.R.A., life member American Trap Shooters Assoc., life member of the Jefferson Sportsman Club, the Brooke Co. Sportsmans Club in Wellsburg, WV and the Marshall Co. Sportsmans Club in Moundsville, WV.

Bob was Veteran of the US Army having served his country in the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife Mary Agnes (Ferrari) Captor who passed away July 11, 1992.

Surviving are his two sons, Robert Nicholas Nick Captor of Washington, PA and Kip L. Captor of Fairmont, WV; his sister, Dorothy (Robert) Karl of Warren, OH and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Bob will be held on Sunday Jan. 25, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the

J.E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 107 Hill St. in Smithfield, OH. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11 am at the funeral home with Mark Carpino officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, OH.

Full Military graveside Services will be provided by the Piney Fork American Legion.
