Robert Benjamin Davis, 76, of Toronto, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the Jefferson Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA.Robert was born January 11, 1931 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Robert and Nora (Humphrey) Davis. Robert was presently employed as a manager and dispatcher for Ace Doran Trucking. He was also a member of the Toronto Masonic Lodge 583 F&AM and a veteran of the United States Army.In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a sister, Nora Jean Bodo.Robert is survived by his wife, Delores Davis of Toronto; his daughter Bobbi Davis of Kansas City, MO; two sons, William Davis of Yellow Springs, OH and David Davis of Toronto, OH; three sisters, Lillian White of Richmond, OH, Betty Critser and her husband Herb of Florida, Harriet Smitley and her husband Chuck also of Florida; one brother, Bill Davis of Scottsdale, AZ. Robert is also survived by several nieces and nephews.Visitation for Robert will be held on Saturday, October 27 from 4-7pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. A Masonic Service will be held at 5pm and also full military honors will be provided by the Toronto American Legion Post#86 with a service at 7pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
