Robert Allen "Tick" Fox, 76, of New Alexandria, passed away at his home Thursday, March 4, 2010.Robert "Tick" was born July 11, 1933 in Mingo Jct., OH son of the late Jonah D. and Inex May (Cheuvront) Fox. Tick was a retired Project Engineer for A.E.P., and was a U.S. Navy Veteran in the Korean War. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. (Kennedy) Fox who passed away November 13, 2008; his granddaughter Amanda Lynn Fox and his brothers Leon and Junior Fox.Robert is survived by his son, Thomas (Janet) Fox of Brilliant, OH; his two daughters, Debbie (Gary) Sutphin of Brilliant, OH and his special daughter Tricia "Skip" Fox of home; his brother, Von (Grace) Fox of NC. Robert is also survived by four grandchildren, Gina (Robert) Roush, Paige Sutphin and Chris Sutphin, Allison (Josh) Dolby; three great-grandchildren, Alexis and Koltn Roush and Bly Dolby.Private family services for Robert, by his request, were held at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH and he was buried in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield beside his wife and his parents.
