Robert A. Hicks Sr. 79 of Toronto, Ohio died Friday April 16, 2004 in Trinity Medical Center West. Bob was born Aug. 20, 1924 in Ripley, W.Va., son of the late Robert and Ruth Miller Hicks. Bob was a retired Heavy Equipment Operating Engineer out the Akron,Ohio Local # 118. Bob is a member of the Riverview Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his 1st.Wife Nellie Lee Davis Hicks in 1995, a Daughter; Aaris Sampson, two Sisters; Beulah Jean Berg,Phyllis Walters, and one Brother; Ernest Hicks. Surviving are;His Wife; Anna Mae Hicks of Parkersburg, W.Va., one Son; Robert A. (Darlene ) Hicks Jr. of Weirton, Three Daughters; Brenda (Bill) Cromer of Lakeland, Fla. Tina Majewski of Wintersville, and Doreen Meeks of Toronto. One Brother; Joe Hicks of Ripley, W.Va. 18 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren. Friends and Family may call on Sunday evening from 7-9 pm. and on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. at the J.E.Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio; where services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am.
