IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert J.
Liddick
February 1, 1956 – July 10, 2025
Robert J. "Rob" Liddick, affectionately known as "Bird" by everyone that knew him, 69, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025 in the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.
Born February 1, 1956, in Steubenville, OH, Bird was the son of the late James E. and Patricia A. (Garee) Liddick.
A proud 1974 graduate of Toronto High School, Bird spent the next two decades at Hancock Manufacturing in Toronto. He then migrated over to Timet-Titanium Metals Corp., where he spent another ten years, mostly in the Coil Dept, before his eventual retirement.
Bird loved to fish and tend to his garden at home, however his greatest adventure was jumping in the car with his wife, Kim, no destination in sight, just the open road and no schedule to keep.
Bird's humor was as legendary as his sense of adventure. He was the guy who knew no boundaries when it came to keeping people on their toes. He'd always go the extra mile to make someone laugh. Bird's laughter was the soundtrack to many lives, and his absence will leave a silence that echoes through the hearts of all who loved him.
In addition to his parents, Bird was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Shayna Kaylee Liddick in 1990, his daughter, Julie "Jules" Liddick in February of this year, brother Jim Pat Liddick, sister Judy Lewis, half-siblings, Jennifer Liddick, Daniel Allison and Sean Allison, and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Liddick.
Rob leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Kimberly S. (Werntz) Liddick, whom he married in a blizzard on January 28, 1978; daughters, Bobbi Lynn Liddick (David Hooper), Meghan Liddick, son Aaron (Ashley) Liddick, granddaughter Lily Jayne Hooper; brother Jerry Liddick, sister Jeannie (Terry) Pinkerton and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews all of Toronto.
A Celebration of Life for Rob is being planned and will be announced. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in his hometown of Toronto.
