Robert John Rush Jr, born March 17th 1952, died August 22nd 2009. He was a beloved Father, Uncle, and Friend. A jack of all trades, 'Uncle Herkie' is survived by his children: Jennifer Rush of Cary, NC; Robert Rush III of Killeen, TX; Renee Rush of Raleigh, NC; two grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, and siblings. He was a master mason and a member of the Youngsville NC Lodge. He was a tireless volunteer of his time, labor and love. No matter how tough times were, he proved you can always find a job, and that there is no shame in honest work. A true mentor, he was eager to pass on what he knew, and the things that he loved most. He considered his greatest success to be the positive effect he had on the children in his life.There will be no services.
