Robert Darrell Saunders Sr. 74 of Toronto, formerly of Follansbee, died Friday Sept. 17, 2004 in the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit in Steubenville. Bob was born May 8, 1930 in Morgantown, W.Va. son of the late Darrell William and Tessie M. Russell Saunders. Bob was a retired employee of National Steel Corp. Tin Mill, retiring in 1983, a member of the Wellsburg Masonic Lodge #2, the Weirton Steel 25 yr. club and the NRA. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a brother; Russell F. Saunders. Surviving are; Three daughters; Rebecca ( Mike ) Denny of Steubenville; Rhonda Jill (Jerry) Ciccolella of Follansbee; Tessa ( Jeff ) Peters of Weirton; a Son, Robert J. (Alesia ) Saunders Jr. of Follansbee; a brother, Gene Edward Saunders of Weirton; 8 grandchildren, 5 Step-Grandchildren, and one Great-Grandchild. There will be no visitation.
