Robert C. Bob Scheel, 79, of Richmond, OH, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Bob was born Oct. 31, 1938 in Stratton, OH, son of the late Frank and Helen (Morrow) Scheel.

He was retired from the Weirton-Steel Corp. where he worked in the Tin Mill. Bob was a life member of the Weirton VFW Post 2716, the Weirton Moose Lodge 688 and the Wintersville American Legion Post 557.

Bob was a Veteran of the US Army.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by three brothers, Dick, Clifford and Gene Scheel.

Bob leaves behind his wife, Patti (Notni) Scheel whom he married Dec. 15, 1990; his three sons, David (Rosemary) Scheel of Mingo Jct., OH, Dan Scheel of Steubenville, OH and Rob (Morgan) Scheel of Henderson, TN; his two step-sons, Brock (Tia) Fuller of Steubenville and Brandon Fuller of Columbus, OH; his two brothers, Bill Scheel of Stratton and Clarence (Karlene) Scheel of Kissimmee, FL; his two sisters, Marilyn Scheel of Delaware and Marsha (John) Crouch of Toronto; his eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Friday, March 30 from 3-6 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. There will be a military service at 6 pm provided by the Wintersville American Legion Post 557.
