Robert C. 'Bob' Smith, 86, formerly of Toronto, OH, residing in Richmond, VA, went to be with his Lord Jesus on May 30, 2024.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Sam & Anna Smith, and siblings, Louise Moore, Harold (Doris) Smith, Stanley (Charlene) Smith, Glen (Lee) Smith.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Crouso Smith; his children, Valery (Bill) Miller, Christy (Jim deceased) Joynson, Paige Enochs, Scott (Pam) Smith, Tracy (Pete) Gulczynski, John Wallace, Tonya (Tom) Wallace Croston, Darlene (Ray) Spishak; grandchildren, Michael (Danielle) Furbe, Cierra Neidermeyer, Kristy (Ron) Holmes, Zachery, Lucas & Katie Gulczynski, Danielle (Kyle) Norton; step-grandchildren, Nick (Kristina) Spishak, Rebecca (Kevin) Murphey, Jessie (Tony) Luck, Shauna (Emerson) Warden, Ashley Croston, Chris (Caitlin) Croston, and 15 great grandchildren.

Bob graduated from JU High School in 1955 and went to work for TIMET for 40.5 years. Bob lived a God centered life, enjoyed traveling all over the US and spending winters in Florida so he could ride his bicycle year-round. He rode over 30,000 miles post-retirement. He loved the churches he attended and the many friends he made.

Services will be held on June 15 at Starkdale Presbyterian Church. Visitation at 10 AM and service at 11 AM with a luncheon to follow.
