Roberta Volsky, affectionately known as "Birdie", 73, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away peacefully, holding the hand of her twin sister Rebecca, on October 30, 2025, in the Sienna Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Wintersville, OH.

Birdie was born April 27, 1952, in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Trudics) Volsky.

Growing up in Toronto, Birdie enjoyed listening to music on the radio and watching TV shows with her twin sister Becky, especially I Love Lucy, and Leave It To Beaver.

Birdie leaves behind her brother Thomas "Tom" Volsky of Wintersville, and her twin sister, Rebecca "Becky" Volsky also residing at Sienna Skilled Care.

Birdie's family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Sienna, and Buckeye Hospice, for their care during her stay of almost 6 years. Prior to Sienna, Birdie was lovingly cared for at her home by her twin sister Becky.

A private service was held for Birdie at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto with the Rev. Frank Rogers. Birdie was laid to rest in the Toronto Union Cemetery next to her parents.
