Ronald J. Miller Sr., 76, of Steubenville, OH passed away peacefully with family by his side July 21, 2022, in the Meadows of Cadiz, OH. He was born April 11, 1946, in Steubenville, son of the late Virginia and Jimmy Moran

Raised in Steubenville, Ronald was a 1964 graduate of Steubenville Big Red High School. He went on to become a Union Plumber and Pipefitter member out of Local 490/495 in Steubenville. Ronald served the local as an active member for 43 years before his retirement and has been a member for 58 years.

Ronald was a hard worker and amazing grandfather. He enjoyed playing Pool and Bowling, but his favorite hobby was Golfing with his son and nephew. He loved the Steelers and PITT Football. His favorite singer was The King, Elvis Presley. His favorite movie, which has become a family tradition, was Smokey and the Bandit.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge, PNA, American Legion and VFW in Steubenville.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Sandra Miller of Rayland; sister, Linda (Raymond) Harris; three children, Ronald (Pam) Miller of Wintersville, OH, Jodi Miller of Bradley, OH, and Shelly (Jonathan) Miller of Wintersville; three grandchildren, Ashley (Ian) Howell of Cadiz, OH, Kayla Ankrom of Mingo Jct., OH, and Samantha Ankrom of Bradley; four great grandchildren, Brooke, Colt and Kade Howell of Cadiz, and Logan Young of Mingo Jct. Ronald also leaves behind many wonderful nieces and nephews.
