Obituary

Ronald David Paris, Sr., 62 of Toronto, OH, passed away peacefully Friday, May 27, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

Ron was born Aug. 4, 1953 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late William J. Paris, Sr. and Grace M. (Argentine) Paris who survives.

He was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto and a 1971 graduate of Toronto High School. Ron was retired from Weirton Steel Corp. where he worked as a flux unloader in the BOP and he was also retired from the Carpenters Local #186 of Steubenville.

Ron coached his children and many others over the years helping out the Toronto Titans, Toronto Little League and Toronto Girls Softball League.

In addition to his father Bill, Ron was preceded in death by his brother, William J. Bub Paris, Jr. and two brother-in-laws, Steven A. Smith and Harry Littlecott.

Ron is survived by his mother, Grace Paris; his wife Terra L. (Smith) Paris whom he married June 2, 1978; daughter Jennifer (Dave) Warner, sons Ronald, Jr. (Rachel) Paris and Michael (Kylee) Paris all of Steubenville and Jonathan (Raelynn) Paris of Wintersville; his sisters, Nancy Littlecott of Akron, OH and Carol (Dave) Cox of Tampa, FL; his cousin who was like a sister, Gloria (Greg) Zamborsky of Toronto; mother-in-law Patricia (Jim) Rinaldi of Weirton, WV; sister-in-laws, Molly Paris of Portland, OR, Bonnie (James) Dehner of Weirton; brother-in-laws, Bill (Charlotte) Smith, Jr. and Rick Smith both of Apopka, FL. Ron also leaves behind his six grandchildren, Luke, Emma, Adison, Ronald III Rudy, Renee and Hunter and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Ron will be held on Tuesday, May 31 from 4-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto where his Vigil Service will be held at 7:45 pm. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday at St. Francis Church in Toronto from 10 am til the time of his Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11 am. Fr. Thomas Vennitti will celebrate the mass and his burial will be held at the convenience of his family.
