Ronald L. Sines, 73, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.

Ron was born Jan. 7, 1949, in Steubenville, son of the late Walker and Thelma (Isleman) Sines.

Ron was retired from Weirton Steel Corp. after 35 years of service having worked as a pipefitter in the BOP caster. He had also worked at the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Follansbee Plant.

Ron was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto. He loved to spend his free time with his grandsons.

He was president of the Toronto Rod & Gun Club as it was being formed and opened. Ron coached Little League Baseball, he loved collecting Toronto memorabilia, and he enjoyed antiques and yard sales.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Sines.

Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Marjorie A. Marge (Hayes) Sines, whom he married June 20, 1970; three sons, Ron E. Sines of Poland, OH, Bryan Sines of Toronto, and Patrick (Lisa) Sines of Kent, OH; two grandsons, Jacob and Ryan Sines; three sisters, Sue Gault of Toronto, Theresa (Bo) Richardson of Douglasville, GA, Gasele (Mark) Krauss of Schertz, TX, and his brother, Rich (Denise) Sines of Toronto.

Visitation will be held on Friday Dec. 23 from 11 am to 1 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto followed by Rons Funeral Service at 1 pm. Fr. Thomas Vennitti will officiate, and burial will be held at the convenience of Rons family.
