Rose Marie (Toscona) Barnes, 81, of Toronto, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2007, in the Trinity West Emergency Room.Rose was born March 18, 1926 in Waynesburg, OH, daughter of the late Frank and Genny (Witt) Toscona. Rose was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Steubenville.In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Barnes who passed away August 24, 2001; one son, Michael Bloomer; two brothers, Joe and Dean Toscona; three sisters, Edith Mattiolo, Mazie Komonich and a sister Elizabeth. Rose is survived by her children, which include three sons, Roger and his wife Jane Barnes of Toronto, Marshall and his wife Kim of Canton, OH, David and his wife Patty of Mingo Jct; two daughters, Sue and her husband James Rowland of Las Vegas, NV, and Delores Michael of Weirton, WV; one brother, Louis Toscona of Wintersville and one sister Lena Berger of Florida. Rose is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.Visitation for Rose will be held on Monday, September 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, where a vigil will be held at 8:30pm. Funeral liturgy with Mass for Rose will be on Tuesday, September 18 at 10am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. There will be visitation at the church prior to her service from 9:15 until time of the service at 10am. Father Timothy McGuire will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt.
