Rose Ann Moore, 62, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025, in the Trinity Medical Center West Emergency Room.

Rose was born July 3, 1963, in Barnesville, OH, daughter of the late Virgil and Mary (Tracy) Carpenter. She was also preceded in death by her son, John Moore, and sisters, Patricia Carpenter, Sharon Johnson, Joyce Carpenter and Barbara Carpenter.

She worked for over 15 years as an STNA at the Laurels of Steubenville. In addition to her children and grandchildren, Rose was a lover of exotic animals and looked forward to going on family trips to the zoo.

Rose leaves behind her children, who gave her the nickname 'Houdini', Andrew (Tammy) Palmer of St. Robert, MO, Cledith Palmer, III, and fiancé Brittany, of Urichsville, OH, and Chanelle Palmer (Deshawn King) of Smithfield; siblings, Howard Carpenter of Marietta, OH, and Betty Landers of TX; her 13 grandchildren, Shyann Moore, James Moore, Christian Moore, Reven-kiss Palmer, Travona-kyss Palmer, Maranda Palmer, Cledith Palmer IV, Dominic Palmer, Aaron Palmer, Mya Palmer, Abel Longwell, Tiana King and Briston King.

Rose's wishes were to be cremated with no public services observed. Her arrangements and cremation plans are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home of Smithfield, OH.
