Rose Mary (Zifzal) Spontaneo, 82, of Piney Fork, OH, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018 at Magnolia Manor in Wintersville, OH.

Rose Mary was born May 8, 1935 in Piney Fork, daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Curtis) Zifzal.

She was retired from the Jefferson Co. Title Office and after retirement she worked at the Vend-It in Smithfield, OH.

She was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Dillonvale, OH and the Piney Fork American Legion Ladies Aux.

In addition to her parents Rose Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Etalio Spontaneo and brothers, Russell (Lila) Zifzal, Gene Zifzal and an infant brother.

Surviving is her daughter, Leiann Lynn Rose Spontaneo of Malvern, OH; brother, Raymond (Leona) Zifzal of North Royalton, OH; sister, Sandra (Joe) Homol of Piney Fork; sister-in-law, Rita Zifzal of Dillonvale; two step-daughters, Theresa Spontaneo of Lake Havasu, AZ and Brenda.

Visitation will be held on Sunday Feb. 18, 2018 from 3 - 7 pm at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. in Smithfield, OH. Additional viewing on Monday at St. Adalbert Church in Dillonvale from 9:15 am til time of her Mass at 10 am. Msgr. John Kolesar will celebrate her mass and entombment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens. A wake service will be held on Sunday at 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
