Rose Sweeney 82 of Toronto, Ohio passed away Thursday May 5, 2005 at the home of her Daughter Kathy and Bob Reeves in Toronto. Rose was born Jan. 7, 1923 in Toronto; daughter of the late John and Catherine Straka Pellior. She was a Homemaker and was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Toronto, the C.W.C. of the Church, she prepared Breakfast for the Holy Name Society for many years, She run Youth Harbor in Toronto from 1960 until its closing and was a former member of the Jefferson County Democratic Women's Club. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by; her Husband Daniel Sweeney Jr. in 1978 and her Brother; Thomas Pellior in 1987. Surviving are; her daughter, Kathy ( Bob ) Reeves of Toronto, three Grandchildren; Bobby Reeves, Andy ( Kasey ) Reeves, and Katie Reeves all of Toronto, and one Great Grandson; Brant Reeves. Friends and family may call on Saturday evening from 7-9 pm. and on Sunday from Noon to 2:00 pm. and 7- 9 pm. at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto; where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday morning at 9:30 am. followed by a Funeral Liturgy with mass at 10:00 am. at St. Joseph Church on N. River Ave. in Toronto. Msgr. Kurt Kemo will be the Celebrant and Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery. Vigil Service will be Sunday afternoon at 1:30 pm.
