Rosemary (Harris) Firm, 87, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away January 19, 2013 in Fairborn, OH, where she resided for the past 17 years.Rosemary was born on May 10, 1925, at Henley Garden, Bicester, Oxfordshire, England, daughter of the late George and Annie (Brooks) Harris.During WWII she served her country in the Women's Voluntary Service where she met her husband, Office of Strategic Service officer G. David Firm whom she married on September 9, 1944 in England. In addition to her parents and her husband, Rosemary was preceded in death by two sisters, Dora Harris Box and Vera Harris Macer; one brother George Harris all of England. Rosemary leaves behind two sisters, Mrs. Vida (Patrick) Edgeworth of Bicester, England and Mrs. Edna (Don) Franklin of Norwich, England.Rosemary is also survived by her children, Mrs. Lynette (John) Wilkins of Cumbria, England, Mrs. Elaine (George) Blanton of Fairborn, OH, Mrs. Joanne (Jerome) Matuska of Wellsville, OH, Mrs. Maureen Felton of Fairborn, OH, Mrs. Janice (John) Scalley of Toronto, OH, and Mr. Jeffery Firm of Jamestown, OH. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. During her final years, she was also blessed by the loving friendship of her special caregiver, Cynthia Rand of Kettering, OH.A private memorial service for Rosemary will be held in Fairborn, OH at a later date. U.S. Army Chaplain Captain Brian Hargis, Rosemary's granddaughter's husband, will perform the ceremony. Arrangements are in the care of the J.E.
