Rosemary Jean (Tarulli) Rebres, 81, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, in the Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV, surrounded by her family.

Rosie was born April 18, 1940, in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Ralph R. and Anastasia H. (Harasimik) Tarulli.

Rosie worked as a former clerk for the City of Toronto Utilities Dept. She was a 1958 graduate of Toronto High School, a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, the CWC of the Church, and the former LIDRAMU Club all in Toronto.

In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Bill Rebres, who passed Feb. 18, 2018, sister, Diane Tarulli, and uncle, Richard Dick Carter.

Rosie leaves behind her children, son Paul William Rebres of Toronto, and daughter, Gail Suzanne (Trevor) Nickerson of Wheeling, WV; sister, Janice McClain and aunt, Barbara Carter both of Toronto; her five grandchildren, Alexandria and Kylie Parker, Will and Devyn Nickerson, and Blake Rebres; her long-time friend, Janet Clore of Toronto, and multiple cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, Sept. 29 from 3 to 6 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Additional visitation Thursday morning from 9 to 9:45 am at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10 am at St. Francis Catholic Church in Toronto. Fr. Thomas Vennitti will celebrate, and burial will follow in the Toronto Union Cemetery.
