Rosetta J. Szypkowski, 94, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 in the Sunny Slope Nursing Home in Bowerston, OH.Rosetta was born April 14, 1919 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Cline and Rose Pernick Lowry.Rosetta was retired from the former Ohio Valley Hospital, Trinity East, where she worked as a Ward Helper and she was Protestant by faith.In addition to her parents, Rosetta was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Szypkowski who passed January 8, 1972; her daughter Kathy Ault; sister Frances Birrell; son in law Wayne White.Rosetta is survived by her daughter, Rosetta White of Steubenville, OH; three grandchildren, John Ault, Charles White and Amy Carothers and four great-grandchildren, Matthew and Zackery White and Eric and Rory Carothers.Rosetta's visitation and funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18 with visitation from 11 am til the time of her service at 1 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH. Pastor Ruby Foutz will officiate her service and burial will follow in Richmond Union Cemetery in Richmond, OH.
