Rosie Janoski, 93, of New Alexandria, OH, passed away Tuesday May 19, 2015 in the Sienna Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wintersville, OH.

Rosie was born in Maynard, OH on June 1, 1921 daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Gudalik Evanovich.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Smithfield Evangelical Friends Church and a former member of the Norma Freer Missionary Society of the church.

In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by her husband Stanley, whom she married on May 7, 1948 and he passed away on Dec. 5, 2013; five brothers, Dan, Emil, Henry, Frank Jr. and Walter Evanovich.

Surviving are her two daughters, Patricia (J. Robert) Wetherell and Rhonda K. Hannan both of New Alexandria, OH; two sisters, Ann Jensen of Land-O-Lakes, FL and Judy Porter of Creston, OH; four grandsons, Shane (Erica) and Brent (Megan) Wetherell and Thomas (Tonya) and Ryan (Danielle) Ellis; two great-granddaughters, Meleia Ellis and Emily Stewart and one great-grandson, Ethan Devore.

Visitation for Rosie will be held on Friday May 22, 2015 from 4- 8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc. 107 Hill St. in Smithfield, OH, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am. Pastor Phil Bliss will officiate the service and her burial will follow in New Alexandria Cemetery.
