Obituary
Roy E. Adams, Sr., 69, of Rayland, OH, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at his home.
Roy was born April 11, 1947 in Martins Ferry, OH, son of the late Charles and Katherine (Robertson) Adams.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served his country in the Vietnam War. Roy was a member of the Brilliant American Legion and he was also formerly employed as a driver for DeFelice Pizza in Martins Ferry.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his son, Kirk Adams and his brother, Earl Adams.
Roy leaves behind his wife, Candace L. (Fithen) Adams whom he married July 3, 1980; Four daughters, Crystal (Randy) Keys of Chester, WV, Turcorya Adams, Cherokee Adams both of home and Amanda (Charles) Bishop of Uhrichsville, OH; two sons, Roy E. Adams, Jr. and Dakota R. Adams also of home; his sister Ruth Fish of FL.
Services and burial for Roy will be privately held at the convenience of his family. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. www.jefosterfh.com.
