Roy G.Pasco, 79, of Smithfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007 in the Sienna Pointe Nursing Home in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.Roy was born on November 24, 1927 in Bergholz, OH son of the late Albert and Louella (Meredith) Pasco. Roy was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for the International Mill Service in Mingo.Roy was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army; he was a member of the Smithfield United Methodist Church, Mingo Sportsman's Club and the Piney Fork American Legion.In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth J. (Hartshorne) who passed away March 20, 2007, and a sister, Isla Armbruster.Roy is survived by his four daughters, Wanda (Bob) Kins of Windsor Heights, WV; Anita (Richard) Kins of Wellsburg, WV; Glenda (Robert) Ogden of Rayland; Beverly Sadler of Weirton, WV.9 Grandchildren and 6Great-Grandchildren. Two sisters, Ruth Pohlenz of Kansas and Vera (Carl) Gilbert of Wis.Four brothers, Jay (Betty) Pasco of Florida, Lorin (Evelyn) Pasco, Gayle Pasco, Jesse (Myrtle) Pasco all of Rayland. Visitation for Roy will be held on Wednesday, April 18 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home-Nightingale Chapel in Smithfield.Services for Roy will be held on Thursday, April 19 at 10:30am at the funeral home with the Rev. Karen Upson officiating.Burial will follow in HollyMemorialGardens. Military Graveside Honors will be provided by the Piney Fork American Legion. Mingo Sportsman's Club services 7:00 pm.
