Ruth Helen Boyd, 97, of Co. Rd. 10 Dillonvale, Ohio passed away Tuesday Feb. 12, 2008 in the Sienna Pointe Nursing Home in Pleasant Grove, Ohio. She was born Nov. 10, 1910 in Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, daughter of the late Ralph and Helen Smith Burke Walters. Ruth was a homemaker, a former switchboard operator in Smithfield and was an Avon Representative. Ruth until her death was the oldest living member of the Smithfield Friends Church. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd H. Boyd in 1993, an infant son, her sister Mary Davis and her brother George Walters. Surviving are five sons, Ralph (Joan) of Dillonvale, Richard (Shirley) of Dillonvale, Isaac (Aloa) of Newport, N.C., Lloyd (Mary Ann) of Smithfield, and Kenneth (Cathy) of Mesquite, Nev. 16 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grand Children. Friends and family may call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 107 Hill St. Smithfield. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday morning at 11:00 am. at the Smithfield Friends Church. Visitation will take place at the church from 10:15 am. up til time of the service. Rev.
