Ruth Mae Chevalier, 87, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Wednesday December 24, 2008 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville. Ruth was born Sept. 6, 1921 in Toronto, daughter of the late Samuel and Sarah Alice Donahue Fullerton. She formerly worked at the Hub and J.C. Penney's in downtown Steubenville and was a homemaker. She is protestant by faith. In addition to her parents Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Earl Chevalier in 1994, and by two brothers Eugene 'Bud', and William Fullerton. Ruth is survived by two sons, Lynn (Paula) Chevalier of Toronto and Clyde 'Gene' (Sherma Lee) Chevalier of Irondale. One daughter, Norma Tucker of Toronto, with who she resided. Five sisters, Janet Morrow, Jackie (Richard) Williamson, Beverly Eltringham, Carol (Mike) Long all of Toronto and Rosalie McIntyre of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Five brothers, Bob, Ronald, Jim, Walter (Kathy) Fullerton all of Toronto, and Richard 'Sammy' Fullerton of Calcutta. 12 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren. Friends and family may call on Friday from 1:00-4:00 pm. and 7:00-9:00 pm. at the J.E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto; where Ruth's services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.
