Ruth BettyCoie,90of Toronto, Ohio formerly ofE. Liverpool, Ohio; passed away Friday evening in the Weirton Medical Center.She was born July 2, 1916 in Wellsville, Ohio; daughter of the late William Edgar and Alice Pearl Means-Peterson.She was formerly employed by the Golden Star Dairy in E. Liverpool, Ohio as a Secretary/ Bookkeeper and was briefly employed by the Prudential Insurance Co.She is a member of the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church in E. Liverpool. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Coie, in Nov. of 1977, infant sister Eva Myrna Peterson and by her brother T.L. Peterson.Surviving are her sister, Bonnie Peterson-Haught of Toronto, her niece Barbara (Warren) Wilson of Toronto, with whom she resided, sister-in-law Dorothy Peterson of California, niece Mary Ann( Dick) Montgomery of Pittsburgh, Pa., niece Sally Lou (Ge') Borghart of the Netherlands, niece Juanita Kunkle of Toronto, niece Jane Ann Coie-Adams, and nephews John Coie, James Coie and David Coie.Friends may call Monday evening, December 11th., from 6-9 pm. at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio.Services for Betty will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. at the funeral home with the Rev. VelVais officiating.
