-Former Toronto Connolly's Hub Owner Dies.Toronto,Ohio;Ruth H.Connolly, 79 of Toronto, Ohio passed away Tuesday Sept. 27, 2005 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville. She was born Jan. 5, 1926 in Toronto, daughter of the late George W. and Hazel Raney Haynes. Ruth was the retired owner-operator of the former Connolly's Hub in Toronto. She was also a former telephone operator for Ohio Bell Telephone and was a graduate of Wellsburg High School. In addition to her parents Ruth was preceded in death by her husband James Connolly in 1995 and her brother George Haynes. Surviving are; her children, Kay ( Jim ) Murray of Perrysburg, Ohio, Mickey (Mary Lu ) Connolly, Kevin ( Susan ) Connolly all of Toronto, and Lisa (Doug) Maher of Norton, Ohio. Four grandchildren; Kasey and Megan Connolly,Martin Murray, and James Maher. Friends and family may call on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. at the J.E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto; where services will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Island Creek Cemetery near Toronto.
