Nellie Ruth FishNellie "Ruth" Fish, 83, of Toronto, passed into Gods' arms Saturday November 11, 2006.Ruth was born July 1, 1923 in Toronto, OH daughter of the late Nellie T. Carman Scott and Francis E. Seevers.Ruth was formerly employed at Char-lanes Bowling Alley in Toronto as a waitress, she is a member of the VFW, Eagles, and the American Legion, all of Toronto, and the Moose Lodge 619 of Steubenville. She was also a member of the FirstUnitedMethodistChurch at 6th and Main St. of Toronto. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert E. Lee Myers; second husband, Bill Fish; her siblings: Charlotte Bates, Ruth Chambers, June Forshey, Lola Davis, Donald Scott and Eddie Davis.Ruth was the loving mother of Linda (James) Miller of Toronto, Patricia (Pat) Spanovich of Fontain, CO, and son Robert (Joan) Myers of Winston Salem, NC.Ruth is also survived by three sisters, Jean Walls of Mesa, AZ; Vera Mills of Steubenville; Patricia Henderickson of Wintersville; six brothers, Robert (Leona) Scott of Carson City, NV; Richard (Joy) Davis of Flagstaff, AZ; Robert (Mildred) Davis of Mingo Junction, OH; Ronald (Ruth) Davis of Holland, MI; Frank Davis of Rapid City, ND; and Donald (Mary) Davis of Benila Springs, FL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.Friends and family may call at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto on Tuesday, November 14th from 2-4 and 7-9pm.Services will be held on Wednesday, November 15th at 11am at the funeral home with the Rev. Kevin Rinkes officiating.A celebration of her life will be held immediately after the services at the FirstUnitedMethodistChurch of Toronto.
