Sara C. (Coffey) Franke, 91, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

Sara was born Feb. 14, 1931, in East Palestine, OH, daughter of the late Ernest W. and Mary Alice (Hartford) Coffey.

Sara was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Toronto and the Toronto Order of the Eastern Stars #215. She was a 1949 graduate of Toronto High School and a former sales associate at the former Lew Moore Furniture store in Toronto.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Edward Lee Franke on July 28, 1992, brothers, Ernest C. Coffey and James T. and Betty Coffey.

Sara leaves behind her children, Ernest Lee Franke of Toronto, Mary Ann (Jerry) Liddick of Toronto, James E. (Lori) Franke of East Liverpool, OH, William H. Bill (Susan) Franke of Toronto, Cathleen L. (Tim) Ingram of Maineville, OH, Jay M. (Deena) Franke of Toronto, and Jon C. (Michele) Franke of Columbus, OH; sister-in-law, Suzanne Coffey of West Lafayette, OH; fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 2 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Saras funeral service will follow on Saturday at 11 am at the First Presbyterian Church in Toronto with an hour of viewing prior to the service from 10 am to 11 am. Rev. Mike Bongart will officiate, and burial will follow in the Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto.
