Sarah "Sally" Cadegan, 79, of Toronto, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007 at TrinityWestMedicalCenter in Steubenville. Sally was born June 1, 1927 in Donegal, Ireland daughter of the late Patrick and Helena (Leonard) McLaughlin.Sally was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Toronto and also was an active member in the Catholic Women's Club.She was a former nurse with the former GillHospital and also worked for Dr. Elmer McGraw.In addition to her parents, Sally, was preceded in death by her husband, William Leo in 1987.She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, George, Mairead, Sean, Dan, Seamus, Lily, Cornelius, Jo McLaughlin and also Paddy Clibbery.Sally is survived by her three children, Una Cadegan of Dayton, OH; Liam (Jaime) Cadegan of Moreno Valley, CA; Leo (Ann) Cadegan of Steubenville, OH.She is also survived by her sister Eileen (John) Lamantia of Toronto; brother Eamon (Aine) McLaughlin of Louisiana; brother Patrick (Veronica) McLaughlin, sister Una McLaughlin and brother Tom (Muriel) McLaughlin all of Northern Ireland; three grandchildren, Shannon and Emily Cadegan and Marissa Molesky.Visitation for Sally will be held on Sunday, April 15 from 12-3pm and 6-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto where a vigil service will be held Sunday evening at 7:30pm.Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held on Monday, April 16 at 10:am at the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto with the Msgr. Kurt Kemo officiating.There will be an hour of visitation in the back of the church from 9am up until the time of the mass at 10am.
