Scott R. McClain, 59, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.Scott was born June 14, 1955 in Steubenville, son of the late John M. and Marjorie Ross McClain.He was a member of Labor Local #809 in Steubenville and he was also a member of the Son's of the American Legion and the Toronto Fraternal Order of Eagles.Scott leaves behind his three children, daughter Mandy (Donnie) White of Harrisburg, NC, daughter Ashley 'Pooh' (Jeremy) Owings of Toronto and son Jacob (Jessica) McClain also of Toronto; his sister Barbara (Steven) MacDonald of Atco, NJ; his four grandchildren, Erin, Olivia, Hayden and Lila; the loving mother of his children, Connie McClain of Toronto and several nieces and nephews.Visitation for Scott will be held on Saturday, June 21 from 4-7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto. There will be additional visitation on Sunday from 12 noon til the time of his funeral service at 1:30 pm. Rev. Luke Hightshue will officiate the service and burial will follow in Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto, OH.
