Sharlene P. (Prosser) Johnson, 80, of Smithfield, passed away Monday, November 16, 2009 at her home.Sharlene was born on February 4, 1929, daughter of the late Daniel and Daire (Shepard) Prosser. She was a member of the Smithfield United Methodist Church. Sharlene was also a former telephone operator in Smithfield and a homemaker.Sharlene was preceded in death by two brothers, Dan and Jack and one sister Virginia McElroy.Sharlene is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" Johnson of home; two daughters, Judy (Bob) May of Reynoldsburg, OH, and Julie (Joe) Marko of Bradley, OH; one sister Patricia Ensinger of East Liverpool, OH; two grandchildren, Matthew Marko and Joshua (Amy) May and three great-grandchildren, Cane, Cole and Caden May.There will be a private burial for Sharlene held at the Fort Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH.
