Obituary

Sharon Kay (Hunter) Carpenter, 61, of Smithfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010 in East Ohio Regional Hospital. Sharon was born Aug. 15, 1949 in Wheeling, W.Va., daughter of the late Joseph Junior and Ruth Adline Rusen Hunter. She was self-employed providing Cleaning Services for Homes and Businesses. She was Presbyterian by faith and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, serving as Secretary of the Smithfield Chapter of the "Cleveland Browns Backers". Sharon is survived by her husband and partner of 23 years Mark "Freak" Carpenter, her daughter Jennifer (Justin) Banos of Smithfield, her brothers, Carl Hunter and Greg (Cindy) Hunter both of Smithfield, her niece Casey Hunter, nephews Chance and Anthony Hunter, Sister's-in-law Diane Self of Louisiana and Pamela (Michael) Reeves of Barnesville. Friends and family may call on Wednesday from 4 pm. to 8 pm., at the J.E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 107 Hill St. Smithfield; where Services will be held at 11:00 amon Thursday. Rev. Wilford Simeral will officiate the Service and Burial will be at the convenience of her family.
