Sherman G. Billingsley 79, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, in the Meadows of Cadiz.

Sherman was born Aug. 22, 1946, in Martins Ferry, OH, son of the late Harold and Myrtle (Francis) Billingsley. He was also preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.

He had previously worked as a press operator at Fort Steuben Metals before retiring.

Sherman is survived by his wife, Michele A. (Pettengill) Billingsley; two sons, Sherman G. (Lisa) Billingsley, II of Toronto, and Dennis A. Billingsley of Ravenna, OH; one daughter, Alicia (Paul) Anderson of Bloomingdale, OH; brother, William (Debbie) Billingsley of Follansbee, WV; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In accordance with Sherman's wishes, cremation will take with no public services. Arrangements are entrusted to J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
