Simon W. Cogley, 79, of Irondale, OH, passed away Monday Dec. 29, 2014 at his home.

He was born Aug. 27, 1935 in Cowanshannock, PA, son of the late Norman T. and Elsie D. Toy Cogley.

Simon was a retired guard for Murry Trucking. He also served his country in the U.S. Army.

Surviving is his wife, Carol (Howell) Cogley, whom he married on April 28, 1962; his daughter, Carol Jane Dorsey of Wintersville, OH; his son, Simon B. (Dawn) Cogley of Ambridge, PA; his brother, George (Debbie) Cogley of Wintersville and five grandchildren, Kenny, Kyle, Kayla, Gavin and Aowyn.

Following Simons wishes he will be cremated and his burial will be held at the convenience of his family.

Arrangements for Simon are in the care of J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc. in Toronto, OH.
