Obituary

Sophia (Trudics) Motto, 89, of Toronto, Ohio, who resided for the past eight years at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville; passed away Saturday Sept. 15, 2007 in Trinity Medical Center West.Sophia was born Dec. 26, 1917 in Pittsburg, Pa., daughter of the late Metro and Anna Karaffa Trudics. She was a Homemaker, a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Toronto and the Jednota Lodge of the Church.In addition to her parents, Sophia was preceded in death by; her husband Stephen P. Motto, who passed away in 1982, two sisters, Martha Leonard Cooper and Anne Stevenson, Three Brothers, Ed Trudix , Milton Trudix and Joseph Trudics. Surviving are; one son; Richard Motto of Toronto, two daughters; Sophia A. Radvansky and Theresa (Butch) Scalley both of Toronto, two sisters; Helen (William) Skiver of Portland, Ind., and Agnes Volsky of Toronto, one brother; Paul (Bonnie) Trudics of Toronto. Six Grandchildren; Kathleen Miller, Kendra Westlake, Karen Miller, Matthew Radvansky, Stephen and Eric Davis. One Great-Grandson and four Great-Granddaughters.Friends and family may call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph R.C. Church on N. River Ave. in Toronto. There will be viewing at the church from 9:00 am. til time of her Mass. Msgr. Kurt Kemo will be the Celebrant and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.
